EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Michael started his career as a Neuropsychiatric Technician in the US Navy 34 years ago. Since that time he has had extensive experience in behavioral medicine including milieu and program management, assessment and referral, compliance and accreditation, business development, and utilization management. During his career, Michael has conducted turn-around and start-up projects and is familiar with the process for each. He obtained his Masters Degree in Behavioral Health Sciences from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma in 2004. Michael embodies the qualities of Casa Grande Academy. He believes that taking good care of employees will create an environment resulting in high quality care for our patients and their loved ones. Currently Michael lives with his wife in the Phoenix area.

Irene Rankin

Irene Rankin

Irene Rankin is the Business Office Manager and oversees the HR department at Casa Grande Academy for the last three years. Prior to being a member of the leadership here, she has graced people who need services and a behavioral health field for over 13 years. The agencies that she has been a member of leadership have benefited in a variety of ways held many positions in behavioral health starting with direct care, education, supervisory, then moving into a Training Coordinator of Staff Development. She strives to provide the best service in any role she holds to all shareholders.

Joseph D. Jenkins

Joseph D. Jenkins

CLINICAL DIRECTOR – Casa Grande Academy

Joe began his career working with adolescents in a group home as a houseparent, over 32 years ago. His professional interpersonal charisma has afforded him the opportunity to be recognized as a born leader in the human services field. He achieved his Masters Degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma in 2000. He has been dually licensed as an Independent Licensed Alcohol and Substance Abuse counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor for 30 years. As a board approved supervisor, he has led work philosophies that have afforded him management and clinical positions throughout his professional tenure. Administratively, he has a vast amount of experience in treatment settings and development of programs for adolescents and adults. Clinically, he has overseen a multi-disciplinary team at a variety of agencies. His knowledge and concentrated wisdom about co-occurring/co-morbidity disorders. He has been credited with being a part of leadership teams that have led completed the opening, oversight, and growth of numerous programs. Joe and his family relocated to Casa Grande in 2019.
